The movement of an automatic watch is a very delicate precision machine.
Naturally, lubricating oil is used inside the machine, so if the watch is stopped, gravity will cause the lubricating oil to accumulate inside the watch.
Cars have an oil pan at the bottom of the engine, which mechanically lubricates the inside of the engine when the engine starts.
Cars are designed to be used both when the vehicle is stopped and when the vehicle is moving, but clocks are designed to operate at all times.
If you suddenly start a watch that has not been running for a long time, there is a risk of damaging the gears inside the movement.
Lubricating oil can also cause stains on the dial and shorten the life of waterproof gaskets on the back cover, etc.
By using a winding machine, the work of adjusting the day of the week, date, and time is reduced.
By operating it on a winding machine for a week, you can determine the average daily difference of your watch, which is also useful as a guide for overhauling.

The main purpose of the winding machine is to keep the clock running at all times.
Modern automatic watch movements have a winding prevention function, so there is no need to worry about overwinding, but please be aware that some antique watches do not have a winding prevention function.
Our winding machine has a programming function, so you don't have to worry about winding it too much.

Our winding machine has four setting modes to choose from.
Winding capacity varies depending on the watch manufacturer and type of movement, so please choose the optimal setting mode for your watch.

Large rotor watches for men such as Rolex, Tag Heuer, Panerai, Franck Muller, Omega, IWC, Zenith, Cartier, Seiko, Longines, Patek, AP, and Bulgari.

Most movements support winding in both left and right directions, but please note that some movements can only be wound in one direction.
A typical watch is the Breitling Old Navitimer, which can only be wound in the right direction.
Please check your watch and choose the most suitable setting mode.

If you own a watch that displays the remaining power of the mainspring, you may have doubts about the power reserve hand not moving when using a winding machine.
The main purpose of the winding machine is to operate the watch, so this is not a problem with the winding function of the winding machine.

Even if you attach a stopped watch to the winding machine and start it, the second hand will not move at first, so it may be mistaken for a winding failure, but when you put it on, gently shake the watch a few times to make sure the second hand is moving. Then operate the winding machine.
It may take some time to start a clock that has stopped using the winding machine's program function.

Our products are set at a basic winding angle of 45 degrees to accommodate all watches.
Some Esprima products have a 35 degree main body angle, but come with a tilt support plate as an accessory.
Please read the instruction manual for detailed instructions on how to use it.

There is a program function to prevent the watch from being over wound and to protect the motor used in the winding machine.
The motor we use is manufactured by Mabuchi and has a durability of approximately 1500 hours.
If there is no programmable function, if it runs continuously 24 hours a day, it will last about 720 hours in a month.
Considering the durability time of approximately 1,500 hours, the motor's durability time will be exceeded in 63 days.
With the program function of our winding machine, when used in setting mode ①, the motor usage time is 80 minutes per day.
If used continuously for one month, 2400 minutes will be converted to 40 hours, and if used continuously for one year, it will work for 480 hours.
Considering the durability and operating time of the motor, the durability is expected to be approximately 3 years.
Please note that there may be some errors depending on usage conditions.

The winding machine itself uses a motor.
Magnetism can cause automatic winding mechanical watches to go awry, but the motor itself is also magnetically shielded, so it is unlikely to have any effect.
In our tests, we did not find any magnetic effects even when the clip was attached to the motor body.
In fact, it seems that the influence of magnetism is stronger on the receiver part of a mobile phone.

This is a drive function developed by our company.
The conventional gearbox was standard, but the torque escape function uses a unique belt drive system to further improve quietness.
Our winding machine equipped with a torque escape function can reduce the load on the motor even if you stop the rotating part by hand.
The torque escape function is a function that releases rotational torque within the drive function even if rotation is stopped due to external force, reducing the risk of motor seizure and damage inside the drive function.
*If you attach or detach the winding machine while it is in operation, it may put a load on the motor and cause a malfunction.

There may be several causes, but please check the following items.
1 Is the adapter itself connected to a power outlet?
2 Are the winding machine and adapter cord connected correctly?
3 Is the green pilot lamp lit when the power is on?
4 Is the mode switch in the correct position?
If the product does not work properly after checking the above items, please contact us.
If the product is within the warranty period, we will take care of it according to the warranty regulations after inspection and inspection.

We inspect the operating noise at the time of shipment, but operating noise varies greatly depending on the individual and how it is used.
Although we have designed the product to minimize operating noise, it is not covered by the warranty except in extreme cases.
Please be aware that some operating noise may occur with use over time.
Especially if you are using it late at night, we recommend using it somewhere other than your bedroom.
If you hear any abnormal noises other than operating sounds during use, please contact us.
If the product is within the warranty period, we will take care of it according to the warranty regulations after inspection and inspection.

All of our products use A/C adapters for power supply.
We use the A/C adapter method because it has the following advantages compared to the dry battery type.
1 Economical Our winding machines come in 17 types, from 1 winder type to up to 30 winder types.
For a single winder type, if used 24 hours a day, it will cost about 25 yen for one month, depending on the disparity in electricity rates in each region.
The dry cell type uses two single dry cell batteries and has an average lifespan of about 2 months.
Retail store prices vary, but we believe that an A/C adapter is advantageous because it saves you the trouble of replacing batteries, so we use the A/C adapter method.
2 With the ecological battery method, two used batteries are always removed when replacing batteries.
We use the A/C adapter method because it does not produce waste.
3 Winding performance Our winding machine uses two types of motors: 4.5 volts and 7.5 volts.
The winding capacity of the 4.5 bolt type has a rotational torque of up to 2 kg, so you can wind your watch stably.
(Men's self-winding watches weigh around 100 to 150 grams) The dry battery method uses a 3-volt motor, so if the remaining battery power gets low, winding may be uneven, so we use the A/C adapter method. We are hiring.
4 Portability is not an advantage.
Please note that since it uses an A/C adapter and is connected to an outlet, it cannot be stored in a safe.

Our products come with a dedicated watch holder.
There are two types of watch holders.

1 Low resilience unisex type (small) (ES10301/LU2193001/LU31004/LU30004/SP43014)
The material is low-resilience PU polyurethane, which is made to prevent scratches on your precious watch.
The attachment is made of soft velor fabric.
You can change to women's size by removing the outer adjustment ring.
Please choose the most suitable size according to your watch.
2 Low rebound unisex type (large) (LU2193004/14・LU2183095・SP2183022/21)
The material is low-resilience PU polyurethane, which is made to prevent scratches on your precious watch.
The best feature is that it is highly elastic and sinks slowly according to the shape of the pressure applied to the seat.
To prevent the watch buckle from getting scratched, please attach the buckle toward the groove.

In both cases, attach the watch to the holding holder and place it correctly in the center of the rotating part of the winding machine body.
If it is not properly installed, it may come off during operation, damaging the watch or causing the winding machine to malfunction.
The size of the holding holder is made to fit an average wrist size.
If the holder does not fit your watch, please use the following method to make fine adjustments.

If the watch is larger than the holder, fill the gap with soft material such as sponge to secure the watch so it does not wobble.
If the watch is smaller than the holder, remove the buckle and fill the gap with soft material such as sponge to secure the watch so it does not wobble.
Be sure to check that the clock does not wobble during operation. This may cause the watch to become scratched.

Our winding machine has two types of body materials.
Esprima brand ABS resin
To maintain the LUHW brand wooden urethane coating, wipe off any dust from the surface with a dry, soft cloth or chemical rag.
Please do not use thinner, benzine, lacquer, etc. as they will dissolve the surface coating.
If the dirt is really noticeable, dilute a neutral detergent with water, soak it in a cloth, wring it out thoroughly, wipe the surface of the main body, and then wipe off the moisture with a dry cloth.
The winding machine is an electrical product, so using it when the inside is wet may cause malfunctions or accidents.
Please do not use it in wet conditions.
Please refrain from disassembling or modifying the main unit as this may cause malfunction, breakdown, electric shock, fire, etc.
Please make sure that there is no dust accumulated on the connection between the A/C adapter body and the outlet.This may cause electrical leakage or fire.
Do not place any obstructions on the adapter cord.
Doing so may cause electrical leakage or fire.

Our products come with a one-year warranty.
Please understand and acknowledge that the warranty provisions for normal use are as follows.
1. Damage/failure due to incorrect use, dropping, etc. 2. Damage/failure due to natural disasters (earthquakes, fires, typhoons, floods), etc. 3. Items without the store's company seal or date of sale 4. Operating noise of the main unit varies from person to person. Therefore, it is not covered by the warranty.
